Impact: The filmwas picked up by Fast Company and was screened locally to FERIAMM, helping raise awareness of the important work being done by the women of the Nuwas Forest. This visibility led to the women being invited to present at the XI Meeting of Community Tourism in Moyobamba, where they shared their work and experiences. The film was also featured as a case study for American University’s Center for Environmental Filmmaking Impact Report, highlighting how environmental storytelling can elevate local filmmakers, amplify community voices, and drive innovation in production and distribution.
